Contract law

Contract law encompasses a variety of different legal challenges, with each industry having its own particularities. We support our clients in the drafting, review and negotiation of individual contracts and/or general terms and conditions ("GTC").

Customised contract design and general terms and conditions

When drafting contracts, various complex matters must be taken into account, including those specific to the industry. Our clients benefit from our wide-ranging experience thanks to the different areas of specialisation within our team.

We draft and review customised contracts for a wide range of projects. This includes contracts for work and services, purchase agreements of all kinds, in particular property purchase agreements, agency agreements, loan agreements and inheritance agreements.

In addition, we draft and review general terms and conditions for repeated use with a large number of contractual partners. Particularly with regard to general terms and conditions, case law regularly develops new requirements for the validity of individual provisions and certain formulations. We monitor legislation and case law and support our clients in the sensible and court-proof realisation of their interests within general terms and conditions; the use of ineffective general terms and conditions clauses can have consequences under competition law in addition to the impairment of (performance) claims of contractual partners.

Contract negotiations

Different interests often clash in the course of negotiations. We are involved in communication and contract negotiations and advocate for our clients' interests. In doing so, we always pursue the goal of realising a solution that is in our clients' best interests.

Contract fulfilment

The conclusion of a contract gives rise to different rights and obligations on the part of the contracting parties. We support our clients in the fulfilment of or defence against alleged obligations.
