Nicole Gottwald

Ms Gottwald has many years of experience in advising on tenancy law matters. She specialises in the areas of commercial tenancy law and general contract law. In addition, Mrs Gottwald supports our clients in the negotiation of care rate agreements.

Curriculum vitae

• 1991 - 1999 Trained as a bank clerk and studied law at the University of Osnabrück
• 2001 - 2003 Legal clerkship in the Higher Regional Court district of Hamm in North Rhine-Westphalia with stations at a European economic institute in Zurich, among others
• 2004 - 2005 Admitted to the bar and worked as a lawyer in a law firm specialising in civil law in Hamburg
• 2006 - 2012 Research assistant to a Member of the Bundestag (legal policy) and work as a lawyer in a shared office in Hamburg

Main areas of activity

Commercial tenancy law & residential property law

Ms Gottwald advises our clients in all matters relating to tenancy law. She specialises primarily in the area of commercial tenancy law, both on the tenant and landlord side. Ms Gottwald draws up and negotiates tenancy agreements for our clients, examines the enforcement of rent defects and associated rent reductions or advises on issues relating to rent increases. In addition, Ms Gottwald advises and represents the interests of our clients both in and out of court.

General contract law

Ms Gottwald also specialises in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and general terms and conditions. In addition, she advises our clients on subsequently required amendment agreements in the event of breaches of contract or the termination of a contractual relationship and represents them in and out of court in contractual disputes.

Property law & real estate law

Ms Gottwald advises our clients in detail in connection with the purchase or sale of land and property and drafts, reviews and negotiates the necessary purchase agreements. She also supports our clients in the amendment or cancellation of land register entries. Thanks to our firm's tax department, we can also answer any tax-related questions that may arise in this context.
